Welcome to Auntie Susie's Quilting Web Site!
Welcome to Auntie Susie's Quilting! My name is Susan Kainula and my quilting studio is located in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario
I have been long-arm quilting since 2008 and have just recently become the proud owner of a new APQS Millenium longarm quilting machine. Aside from pantograph (edge to edge) and free hand quilting, this new machine also has the Quilt Path capability for intricate custom quilting. All of your quilting needs can be discussed over a consultation.
I have a few favorite charities that I support. I am also a member of the Stitches From the Heart Quilt guild, and the comfort quilt subgroup is where I focus my attention. These quilts are donated to the local nursing homes, children in need, and the very ill. As well, I have recently volunteered to be the Chair-person for this group. This year we have taken on an additional project, we are busy constructing X&Os quilts for our local Easter Seal children. It is a priveledge to be able to long-arm quilt some of these special treasures for such a worthwhile cause.
For the past few years I also have constructed and donated many themed quilts in support of breast cancer research.
My years of quilting experience means your quilts are in good hands whether you want edge to edge design, free hand or custom quilting. Take a look at the full list of services and designs that Auntie Susie's Quilting has to offer.
I promise that your quilt will be finished in a clean smoke free environment.
I look forward to talking to you about getting your quilt completed so that it can start keeping someone warm.
